The Best Watches You Didn’t See From LVMH Watch Week

LVMH, the conglomerate responsible for a litany of high-end fashion houses, just held its fifth watch week, and the biggest names in the biz pulled out the stops. The Bulgari Bulgari made an appearance, as expected after Jeremy Allen White’s recent tease at the Critics’ Choice Awards, as did a banana-yellow Orlinsky from Hublot, asking a paltry £82,000. However glitzy, expensive, or devastatingly tasteful some of them were, they all clamored for the same attention from a slew of reporters flown in for a look. But Cam Wolf at GQ turned his eye elsewhere.

These Frames Are Game Changers

[Partner] Love ’em or hate ’em, the Boston Celtics are at the top of the leaderboard. And they got there in no small part with the vision of assistant coach Sam Cassell—figuratively and literally. His new collection with eyewear brand Zenni played a key role. “A winning mindset comes from a crystal-clear vision of your goals, both on and off the court,” says Cassell. “And sometimes, achieving that clarity means prioritizing your literal vision.” Put yours first and take the next step toward a winning mentality with one of 50 different styles from the Sam Cassel x Zenni lineup.

10 of the World’s Greatest Menswear Stores

This is a very, very abridged list when it comes to the incredible menswear shops that grace the globe, and doesn’t take into account some of the best curators, who exist exclusively at flea markets, swap meets, or online portals. These destinations are sanctuaries of style, where every stitch and seam tells a story of dedication, passion, and artistic vision.”

Carhartt Is the New Luxury

All that shouting about stolen valor suddenly sounds like a whisper. This one’s the nail in the coffin for anyone who’s been loud about folks who wear Carhartt, but don’t do Carhartt sh*t. (Looking mostly at you, urban dwellers in the creative trade.) Luxury European fashion houses including Louis Vuitton and Prada have taken workwear to completion after debuting collections that riff on the boxy shapes of Carhartt’s Detroit jacket and chore coats; the collar contrasts the body, and there are small logos stitched into the chest. Here, Highsnobiety unpacks what it means that blue collar clothes have finally hit the runway.

The Take

This New Book on The Sopranos Reveals How the Sausage Was Made

Don’t argue. The Sopranos is television’s grand cannoli, its six-season run one of the most captivating dramas to ever grace the screen. Now, Mark Kamine is sharing what he saw.
