How Clothes Became the Biggest Controversy of The Masters

Any press is good press, they say. And at this year’s Masters Tournament, Malbon, a boutique golf label that’s a David to tour goliaths like Ping or Titleist, generated heaps by violating (intentionally or otherwise) the PGA’s player endorsement policy. It outlines that “names, brands, and logos must be in good taste as to content, size, location and quantity,” and according to the tour, Malbon player Jason Day’s billboard of a sweater was too naff to make the cut. But it also might have been one of the most stylish looks Augusta—and the sport of golf—has seen in decades.

Jeremy Allen White Is (Probably) Playing Bruce Springsteen in a New Biopic

Bring on the tank tops, bandanas, and biceps. Corners of the internet are on fire over the news that Jeremy Allen White (aka the poor man’s Timothée Chalamet) will be playing The Boss in an upcoming biopic on the classic rocker, Deliver Me From Nowhere, which is based on the book of the same name by Warren Zanes. White slayed in kitchen drama The Bear wearing nothing but a white tee, apron, and blue jeans; the all-American look will likely come easy for the actor, but doing Nebraska-era Bruce might just be his biggest challenge yet.

Fashion’s Favorite Farm

“Twenty years ago, Dan Colen, now 44, was a main character in a cast of beautiful broken boys (nicknamed Warhol’s Children) who became the art world protagonists of New York City’s peak indie sleaze moment—an era for which fashion is currently throbbing with longing,” says the New York Times. These days, though, Colen’s tenacity is focused on running a farm in upstate New York called Sky High that donates all its food, and an accompanying fashion label, Sky High Farm Universe, which sells items like hoodies, tees, and knits made of upcycled materials. Here’s how Colen’s new vision is pushing the limits of food, fashion, and everything in between.
