The 52 Best Menswear Moments of Wimbledon 2024
In case you were still puzzled about who out there actually wears a suit—and where exactly they’re wearing it—Dave Grohl at Wimbledon is at least one answer. The Nirvana drummer and Foo Fighters frontman showed off with some upper crust cosplay last week in a suit and tie, making for what GQ is calling one of the tennis tournament’s best menswear moments of the year. Patrick Mahomes did his best with sneakers and pinstripes, while, with Salma Hayek on one arm and billions in the bank, Kering CEO François-Henri Pinault didn’t need to impress a soul—and looked great doing it.
It’s Time to Check Out Baja—Kühl Will Pick Up The Tab
[Partner] Fans of stunning desert vistas, whale watching, cartoon-sized cacti, and perhaps an ice-cold margarita after an action-packed day of sightseeing, this is your sign that it’s time to head down to Mexico. Outdoor brand Kühl has teamed up with Baja Adventures to offer a two-night stay in Loreto, where guests can choose two excursions, one by land exploring the area’s rich flora and fauna on the back of a mule and one by sea to witness majestic whales and dolphins up close.

Even folks who don’t know the difference between a birdie and a bogie might be familiar with golfer Jason Day, who, earlier this year at The Masters tournament, was asked to change out of his vest. Its large font frazzled PGA officials who felt the branding was in poor taste, causing a media storm that gave Day’s sponsor, Malbon, far more eyeballs than it would have received otherwise. This is why the brand was conceived, in a sense—to challenge golf’s old-school values with attire that’s at home on a fairway or at the farmers’ market. According to Complex, there’s more to come.
Why the Business of Vintage Armani Is Still Booming
If you’re gonna do some tailoring, you might as well go big. Few designer suits make a statement like the ones Giorgio Armani crafted in the late ’80s and early ’90s. They were “softer, and more experimental. Thick wool was often mixed with silk and linen. Shoulders were dropped, and silhouettes were loose,” says GQ, citing qualities that cemented the suits as some of the most iconic ever made. Armani, the designer, might have turned 90 last week, but for a new generation of suit wearers, his famous silhouettes feel as fresh as ever.

The summer style flex that would make Prince proud. Tennis whites keep you cool on the court—but there’s more to it than that. Why buy a festival ticket when you can pretend you went with this faux $3,800 wristband? Nobody asked, but Adidas turned one of its most famous sneakers into a dress shoe anyway.
