To dress Brad Pitt in Fight Club, costume designer Michael Kaplan started with one query to get started visualizing Tyler Durden’s wild vintage fits. “How far can I go with this character?” To which Fincher replied, “you can’t go too far.” On the 25th anniversary of the cult film, Kaplan shares, among other tidbits, “how he nearly got Pitt in a tube top, where that famous ‘hustler’ shirt came from, and the current location of Durden’s vintage red leather jacket.”
